That's an excellent question. Personally, I find myself so wrapped up in the goals I have set for myself that I lose focus on the inner spirit. I am driven to acheive success and I find success in knowing that I have helped others acheive their own personal goals but I can easily overlook my own need for spiritual fulfillment. I've learned to multi-task my desire to work hard with my need find inner peace by spending a great deal of time at the beach. It's a perfect place for me to relax, walk, be one with myself and nature and..........okay this sounds horrible, but also work. Thanks to technology the beach is as much of an office to me as my brick and mortar office.
I'm also fortunate that, as a chef, I'm able to combine my creativity and work with outreach. Cheffing at fundraising events, feeding the hungry and using our restaurants as a means to raise funds and generate revenue for valuable causes. It all becomes one in perfect harmony.
