Arahter

Welcome!

I'm not an Arahter, I'm a Caeder (type XII), but I wanted to get the discussion started in this section. Although I founded this site, I've been looking forward to interacting with people that have each type so that that I can learn more about this system.

My initial questions for Arahters are:

Did you know about your capacity for inspiration before you came to this site? Has your community valued your inspiration?

Please post your thoughts and experiences in this section.

Thanks.

Drew:
I really liked the personality test. Very, very nice work. Class act. The art work is stunning, as well.

I was intrigued by how you structured the questions, posing them on best, worst and normal days. I was not sure, at first, how to answer these and found that my normal days responses were different from the best and worst - which both had the same response. I wonder if that is usual.

I am not sure I found a best choice for one of the higher being questions near the end. I chose the atheistic/agnostic response, only believing in what I can ascertain by reason - but that it not true, eveyday - just most days. Some days I catch glimpses of a larger being - or maybe it is just indigestion. So, understandably, my profile expresses concerns about that lack of faith and even cynicism, I suppose. However, I feel I am quite spiritual - and come from a strong fundamental, evangelical Christian tradition. That tradition brings with it good and bad baggage. I embrace some of that tradition and am infuriated by lots of the rest.

Inspiring myself and others to work for the good of our fellow human beings and to work to better society and our world is of paramount importance to me.

Regarding the fit, and your question on this post, yes the inspirer hit the mark, and relates to what I have been doing vocationally for the past 16 years, or more. (Formerly a director for a large state human services agency - attemping to inspire that system to transform into one that embraces the concept of the "revovery vision" for those individuals with chronic and serious mental illnesses -and I happen to be a psychiatrist by training)

I will be interested to follow this forum as it develops. Hope to see some posts from fellow Arahters.
James
