Welcome!

I'm the founder of this site, and I'm also a Caeder. I've been looking forward to interacting with people with each of the types to learn more about them.

My initial question for my fellow Caeders is how you are able to bring your gifts into the daily flow of your life, in a world that arguably hasn't made a lot of room for them. For me, my practice as a psychiatrist, writing and the work on this site have been major outlets.

Please post your thoughts and experiences in this section.

Thanks.

I am in college to become a clinical psychologist and am also a Caeder. Being a psychiatrist, how do you see your spiritual personality being a stepping stone for a more effective practice?

Hey, Sean, welcome.

Being a Caeder has huge advantages as a psychiatrist, but there are some big challenges as well. Having the ability to see deeply enables me to have a very intuitive and spiritually-based practice. Patients enjoy and appear to benefit from this approach. The difficulty is that the world right now expects psychiatrists to focus on medications, and to fit everything into a diagnostic and therapeutic system that has some powerful, but partial truth (in my opinion).

Those challenges may be a bit lighter in clinical psychology, but as I understand it, there still is a pressure to fit into empirically "proven" therapies (spiritually-based approaches are clearly effective, but it is very difficult to prove their value in an empirical way).

Writing and developing this site are two ways that I get to exercise my Caeder qualities in ways that feel somewhat less bound by conventions that feel kind of stodgy to me.

DId that make sense?

Hello. I've just completed the quiz and found I am a Caeder. Although I felt the Caeder description resonates with me, I am not secure in my understanding of this or the other spiritual types. I have not joined the site (fee side of it) as I am not clear on what is being offered.

By way of an introduction, I wear many hats - I am a self-led student of many things, particularly spirituality, a mother & wife, a director of nursing (which translates to counselor to many employees & patients), an educator (I teach classes to parents that homeschool their elementary school-age children, as I also homeschool), ......

Jill --

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I've been busy with several things, including developing this site. One of the features that many users have requested is more information about the other types. We're working on that. Most people who've contacted me have resonated with their types. By your description of your life, I'm not surprised that you are a Caeder.

Aloha,

Hi Everyone!

I'm a Caeder too...and resonate with the information. The way I bring my gifts into the everyday flow of life is...I'm a mom, wife, ECE Resource Teacher, Intuitive Energy Artist and I offer workshops, classes and individual energy portraits. The Intuitive Energy Art thing just found me. I had gone through a time of losing quite a few things in my life i.e. career and all those work relationships, and the relationship with my mother, father, sister and brother. I guess because I was stripped of all my "roles." It really offered me the opportunity to connect with my core, authentic being, the part of me that is ONE with everyone and everything, Source/God. I struggle at times because I really do see the potential in everyone and that is more clearer to me than how they are actually being. When I do pick up on their lack of integrity I can be pretty hard on myself for being in "judgment" of others...I'm very happy to have found this site and I'm looking forward to connecting with more people and learning about the different types.

Bright Blessings to all of you!

Maggie --

It can be so difficult to see people's potentials, and have them not achieve them ... or to forget to look at where they are now. I sometimes fantasize about being able to attend a party in which, for at least one night, everyone is fully at their potential.

I'm looking forward to others' views on your interesting post.

We're working to get the word out on this site, and bit by bit, it is happening.

Aloha,
Drew
